Overgrown Vegetation with just 1/3rd of pathway now usable
Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 21:46, Wed 7 October 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2330951.
This has been reported before and we are informed it has been cleared. This has not happened. The hedging is now leaving just 1/3rd of the path free meaning you need to walk on the grass verge to pass by. It is a consistent issue over the last few years.

Dear Sirs
As you will be aware Vistry / Bovis are constructing a new housing development on the land previously owned by Collingtree Park Golf Club.
Whilst I have no concerns over the housing being provided by the new development I would like to bring to your attention the poor state being left to Windingbrook Lane as a result of the increasing construction traffic to and from the site.
On such a large scale developments I understood it was common practice to request wheel washing facilities and good cleaning practices to the adjoining adopted roads being stipulated as part of the planning approval so as to ensure the running surfaces of the roads and footpaths are maintained in good order.
It would appear the site team are not adhearing to good working practices on keeping the roads clear and clean to and from the site and I attached a photograph of the general daily state of Windingbrook Lane for your reference.
Please could you intervene and take steps to ensure the roads are cleaned more regularly and maintained properly by Vistry / Bovis.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you feel I can be of any help with resolving this issue.
Regards
Rich Gartside mob 07771 995936
