60mph and no footpath

This road is a main route to Corby Business Academy. Recently, there has been two near misses with cycles narrowly avoiding cars travelling near 60mph. If a pedestrian is alongside the verge, often a child, they have no where to go to avoid a collision. The road is not wide enough for two cars, and if there are two cars, a cycle and a pedestrian, something terrible will happen. Last week a cyclist was knocked off their bike, when a car sped around the corner, and the rider was in the middle of the road, due to the road condition. I have seen many children walking in the road, as there is no path, and cars come speeding around the corner, and simply do not see them. With darker nights, the fact that this is a fast road, it is very dark, will make more accidents happen. It has been made worse by the trees on the western side having their roots illegally chopped away, so many of these trees now overhang the road making it worse.
