Very slippery drain covers in passageway between Irchester High St and Village Hall when wet or damp. difficult to avoid

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2334761.
The covers are extremely slippery when damp or wet. They cannot be avoided as there are 2 and stepping round them is very difficult when you are old. I slipped on them in January this year twisted my back and had to have physio therapy. My daughter slipped on them last Thursday and dropped to the ground and hurt her back. Urgent attention needed please before someone breaks some bones and sues. They seem ok when weather is dry but when wet / damp they are deadly. Look forward to your reply in due course. Regards Tony Mascello

Having investigated the matter the footpath is not part of the Highway maintained at public expense. The footpath appears to be the responsibility of the village hall.
State changed to: not the council's responsibility
