Bridleway Decimated by Tree Felling Work
Reported via desktop in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category anonymously at 16:09, Wed 14 October 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2341024.
Until a couple of days ago this Bridleway between Little Brington and the back road between Whilton and Great Brington was in reasonable condition. Today when I attempted to walk it I was confronted with a scene of decimation. I understand the land owner wants to maintain his adjacent spinney but surely they must have been able to do this without such damage to the public right of way - it's now impassable on foot.

Thanks for reporting this a site visit will be made and report back to you. Apologies for the delay in responding back to you but can confirm that a site visit has been made and we will be arranging for the land owner to level out the ground when conditions start to dry in the next few months so that it can be leveled correctly, if it is too wet then it is more difficult to level again without creating a mess again.
