Footpath between 15 Brandenburg Road and 56 Oldenburg Road

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 22:57, Tuesday 20 October 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2350277.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing again to the Council today to bring to their attention some overgrowing branches that originate from a private property, however, substantially restrict a public footpath. These overgrowing branches also pose a great danger to passing members of the public, as they contain a significant amount of thorns - as shown in the photo. I originally reported this issue back in May, and a letter was sent out to the resident requesting that the vegetation was cut back. The resident did cut some back, however, a large number of branches continue to restrict the footpath as of today (20th October 2020).

The address that these branches originate from is 15 Brandenburg Road, Corby NN18 9BU. I have attached photographs of the footpath which demonstrate the extent to which these branches still restrict it. The restriction is on the footpath between 15 Brandenburg Road and 56 Oldenburg Road - NOT 18 Brandenburg Road. I was unable to select a pin closer, so had to select that one.

Please could the council intervene in having these branches removed, as given the number of thorns they have they pose a real danger to members of the public.
