Growing pothole on the junction of Main road and Chequers lane

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2357674.

This pothole reoccurs every couple of years and it has got to the point where it has started to become an issue when pulling out of, or into Chequers lane. There is currently an addition of strain on this pothole with large vehicles (HGVs) and JCBs coming in and out of the lane, due to a large construction project which is on-going. It is better to sort it out now before it gets worse (and costs more to repair)

  • Thank you for your enquiry. This location has been inspected by our team. There are currently no defects that meet our investigatory criteria for repair. These levels have been agreed with Northamptonshire County Council. We will continue to monitor the defect via our routine highway safety inspections.
