Worn road markings causing daily danger

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category by Cllr Jim Hakewill NCC at 23:26, Mon 26 October 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2358717.

Traffic exits Rothwell down hill at speed. Cars having come from the A14 have to sit in the middle of the road to wait for a break in oncoming traffic to make the right turn.

The only protection for right turning traffic is paint on the road detailing the centre lane for waiting.

The erosion of the road marking may have been accelerated by the now cleared drains on the left O&S the road, but which for sometime created a flood that washed across this area of road, possibly removing the lining.+

It is a busy junction serving a significant number of houses.
