Broken grout around pavement slabs
Reported via desktop in the Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked category anonymously at 17:47, Tue 27 October 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2359887.
You fixed the areas where grass and mud were not growing between the slabs outside Malt House in The Square. In the areas where grass and mud are present, instead of grout, you have left the footpath to become a slippery muddy mess with big tufts of grass to trip people up. The mud is a real issue - apart from being very unsightly, it trails into residents' houses. Please can you remove the grass and mud and reinstate a proper pavement, especially given that this is a conservation area. One day someone will slip and break a bone. Anyone wearing high heels will get them stuck in the mud and grass between slabs and also probably fall and break a bone. I am having trouble uploading photos but can send by email if you like. Pls can I ask you to address this. Thank you.
