Please can you tell me how this is to be repaired? Is it by making a ditch fit for purpose to take the surface water away from the road for instance? Knowing 500m of road has near constant water flow, what plans are there to increase winter gritting as this will become an 'ice rink' for weeks on end soon. Please advise on both issues.

Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of Radstone Road; specifically, that water is flowing out of the gully into the road and could cause a dangerous hazard during low temperatures. We can confirm that there is an ongoing drainage investigation into the water issues in this area. Please be assured that the works order to repair the existing defects will be made safe, pending the outcome of the drainage investigation with a permanent repair to follow. We would like to thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

I first reported this 16 months ago, it’s no different today compared to them despite promises. Please work out how to stop a gulley causing water flow for 1/4 mile
