Edge failure, hole now 4m x 1.2m
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Dave Gaster at 08:46, Sat 7 November 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2374994.
Since Northamptonshire CC / SNC started using Blackpits Farm for waste treatment (Garden waste and Food Waste processing) a large hole has occurred opposite the exit. This seems to be caused by RCV's and tractor - trailers accelerating out of the junction and then turning right, rather than turn and accelerate. There is also evidence of multiple vehicles tracking over the edge of road all the way through to Radstone Road, leading to mud on the road that caused an accident.
