Landowner has erected a fence that makes footpath impassible

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 21:10, Mon 9 November 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 1 minute later. ref: 2379506.

Landowner harasses people on footpath. Follows on tractor and stares. Footpath is impassible when you get to the second field. Not just overgrown but they have put up an electric fence that you can’t walk past. My wife and I were each electrocuted when we tried to walk past. There are no signs to mark this, and if children or older people were to face this they could be badly hurt.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you we have been having difficulty trying to contact the appropriate landowner but we have now been in contact with them and asked that the fence is moved from the line of the path and erect some warning signs within the next 4 weeks.
