Highway water discharging into private property
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Dave Gaster at 09:28, Mon 16 November 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2389383.
The combined effect of the kerb line sinking and the carriageway being laid higher than the vehicle crossing is causing highway surface water to frequently flood up to the frontage of 22 Radstone Road
Had KierWSP taken levels at any time over the last 18 month, you would have realised that simply replacing the existing dropped kerbs about 3cm higher, and reprofiling the crossover would have obviated the knee jerk reaction to install a new gulley, which doesn't collect most water from north of it.
