Several significantly large potholes.

Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 19:34, Tue 17 November 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2392861.

The road surface here is particularly bad, there are some significantly large potholes either side of the rail and canal bridges. I dropped the Police car down one yesterday and a member of the public also went down one today causing damage to their tyre.

  • I failed to avoid the deep potholes on the south side of the bridge tonight. It's blown out my tyre and I needed to get towed.

  • I came down Burgess Hill on Monday evening in my Audi Q7 hitting that massive pothole Didn’t think anything about it until Tuesday morning when I noticed my tire was flat Put a spare wheel on and took the damaged one to the garage only to be told that the room is split, This must be due to that pothole I will now have a cost of either a new rim or hopefully a repair which will cost me I would guess about £1000

  • I am seeking compensation as this pothole has caused my rim to split in this pothole

It will cost me £500 to weld the rim and replace the tyre

I am requesting compensation from yourselves.
