Tree blocking footpath

Lager tree blocking footpath pedestrians have to walk around on road and blocking a safe exit of drive way.
I am writing in relation to a street tree that has been registered as dangerous to the public highway, as referenced above.

There is also a valid planning permission that includes the felling of this tree, due to commence work on site in January 4th 2021. Planning Reference N/2019/1016

I registered this tree to be felled on the 15th October to be told that it was a borough council tree, called today to progress and have been told that this is in fact a County council tree, therefore we are now 1 month behind schedule.

I would appreciate it if you could look into the felling of this tree, and a timeframe to suit the development starting.

  • Thank you for contacting the County Council regarding this tree. I have looked at the planning permission and the planning permission appears to have been given on the basis that you will be removing the tree. My regulations colleagues inform me that they have contacted you separately regarding this process this morning.
