A lot of the drains on Huntingdon Road are blocked with mud. This leads to excessive water run off every time there is heavy rain. Also causes flooding at junction with High Street and Oundle road. This has been reported many times over past few years. Please do something about it.

Today I walked along Huntingdon Road in Thrapston from near Oundle Road up to Market Road and counted 7 drains all blocked with mud. With the amount of rain recently and predicted there will be no where for rain water to drain away too. Could end up flooding homes, businesses and cause big issues on the road

I’m afraid there has been no improvement. The lorry sweeper continues to do its stuff, which keeps the roads clear but continues to push mud into the drains. I have reported again recently on Fix my Street but complaints from residents still being received as drains still blocked.
