Drain across pavement picking up my drainpipe on 34 Alexandra Road is always blocked.

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2411923.
I have to clean out the metal drain across pavement all the time. Can it be changed to a solid lid type as my basement is now getting damp from the water not getting away through pavement drain. It now backs up against my front wall, thus causing issues with my habitable cellar.

How is the public footpath my responsibility? The metal drain is not part of my property. My deeds do not include the public footpath. The downpipe from my guttering is my responsibility. However, the metal drain across the footpath is not owned by me. Also, this metal drain across footpath is used by 2no neighbours houses as there guttering runs into my downpipe so how it is mine again! I request a phonce call please to discuss this issue with a human being. My number is 07756 679 208. My basement is getting increasingly wet from this issue and will be speaking to my building insurance provider next. Please be respectful and call me on this matter please. Regards, Brian Lynskey

09/12 The metal rain water channel are the owners responsibility to maintain and repair and if serving two properties, then it is joint responsibility of those property owners. We have dealt with Rain water channels for many years and they are definitely owned and maintained by the properties they service
