Path needs to be made more usable
Reported via desktop in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category by Sue Porter at 15:58, Tue 1 December 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2413665.
There is a problem for those with pushchairs etc using this path, due to the muddy and troublesome surface. The unofficial cut through to Ryehill Close has now been closed by Futures Housing and this makes the path to the village very difficult. Can this path be inspected?

Thanks for reporting this a site visit will be made and report back to you. A site visit has been made and albeit the path is muddy it is the winter months where paths will be wet and muddy, added to this it is natural surface path and always has been. Unfortunately we do not have the budget to make this a tarmac path like the new estate. If the parish wish to carry out improvements their self the we would not object to this but would like to be advised as to what they would like to do before anything was carried out. It should also be reminded to parishioners that public rights of way are generally rural paths made of natural surface and expect to be in muddy conditions in the winter especially with greater number of people walking from the new estate.
