Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2415175.
Steps that go down the road embankment from Upton Valley Way East near the pedestrian crossing at the top of Banbury Lane, have become a serious trip hazard due to over growing briars. This situation will get worse in the spring but due to dark nights and reluctance to use hand rails due to Covid, residents have complained about the safety of them. N.B. The entire embankment (not just Upton Valley Way East as your map suggests) is the maintenance responsibility of Highways and NCC due to the Section 38 Order that applies to the entire embankment area for the bridge over the canal. This has been previously established with Helen Howard in Highways.
