Blocked Kerbside drains in the bus layby on barton Rd
Reported via desktop in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 14:41, Sun 20 December 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2440441.
The excess of leaf litter and slurry is unable to enter drainage. The spray from vehicles going over this area is landing on the foot way and passing pedestrians. Many are en-route to the local primary schools or newsagents. The untrimmed wayside hedging is also prone to putting many leaves on the kerbside, also contributing to the kerdside debris.

Case no 2440441 Dear Team . This stretch of Footway ; adjacent kerbside ; bus lay-by and Kerbside drains remains full of slurry and debris. The kerbstone drains are blocked and need a power wash / vacuum. Volume of traffic at times exacerbates the spray onto pedestrians. Regards R Steele

Both drains on this stretch of road appear to be blocked. This area still remains an issue especially in wet days making it difficult to walk in that part of the street when walking children to school. As per the original request the kerbside hedging need to be trimmed back to clear the footpath.
