5 large potholes on High St between junction with Bengal Lane and 39 High St. I have now had 4 cracked wheels!

These 5 potholes have been poorly repaired in the past and have now re-appeared. In general the condition of S. Northants roads is disgraceful. I have suffered 4 cracked wheels on my car since moving here in 2016. Drivers have to swerve to avoid them and this isn’t going to cause an accident, damage to vehicles will. We all pay high council tax and toad fund license, we deserve better.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. A works order has been raised and will be completed within 6 months to repair carriageway potholes that meet ncc investigatory levels.

    Recent frosts have seriously worsened the potholes conditions. They need to be reassed and prioritised. I have more photos of the other potholes but you only allow me to add 3.

    18.00 hrs Friday 5th February this reported pothole caused a blow out on my car costing £164 which I wish to make a claim for.
