Blocked drain
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2443721.
Blocked drain on road, drain full of leaves and now excessive water is running down the road. With more rain due and with being on a hill, potentially for flooding at bottom of road and ice issue if it freezes. Reported to Severn Trent water who said it’s the council responsibility

This gulley has been cleared and jetted, it is just a slow drainer.

Yes, you are correct...this was cleaned just before Christmas and still has remained full and overflowing and because of this is a sheet of ice this morning due to a drop in temperature. This drain used to work fine so please enlighten me how it has now turned into a slow drainer? Rain/water isn't a new concept and this drain is not working, it never goes down and has been a 'slow drainer (no drainer) for around 2 months now.

Following crew attending the other night the drain is still overflowing and causing ice on pavement and road, it is also starting to damage the footpath/driveway entrances to no 8 & 10 greenway
