Person Injured Opposite 19 High Street - Huge Dip / Old Horse Croft

Reported via desktop in the Pothole / Failed Reinstatement category anonymously at 14:20, Wed 23 December 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2445083.

A lady was injured as she fell down a huge dip over flowing with water opposite the property of 19 High Street (near the old post office). She was walking down the path when all of a sudden she was in a ditch with water around her neck. Injured and in shock she couldn't remember getting home, concerns of how dangerous this is and couldn't believe it is not covered or having no safety barriers near by. The lighting is poor at night and although it might be noticeable during the day it is not safe when it gets dark. Concerns raised that if it was a child, their is a high risk of drowning
