Route obstructed by flower bed and hedging.

This obstruction is on f.p. HH19 that runs off of Oakley Road Pipewell.. The track leading down to Abbey House,Pipewell is not on the correct alignment, but this is not the main concern. Just before the iron gates to the house,it goes sharp left and on the right is a laurel hedge and the offending flower bed.You can deviate around the obstructions, but the lady of the house was very agitated, but her husband was more polite. He said he was going to get the path diverted.It never happened. This has been ongoing for many years,even the new owners knew about it.

  • Thanks for reporting this a site visit has been made and we are investigating if an application has ever been made and what further action we will need to take to get the path usable

  • Thanks for reporting this a site visit has been made and we are investigating if an application has ever been made and what further action we will need to take to get the path usable. Apologies for the delay on this issue, we have been in contact with the landowner and would seem to be difficult to open the path on the legal line and advised to contact the definitive map team for applying for a diversion order
