Gravel making verges safer washed away
Reported via desktop in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 13:24, Wed 30 December 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2453533.
The verges of Park Hill were filled with gravel by Highways a couple of years ago because there was a sharp drop from the tarmacked road into the verge. However, in the deluge of the 23rd, the gravel has been washed away and is now mostly piled up at the bottom of the road underneath the railway bridge. Therefore, the verges are again dangerous for passing cars and drainage is impeded by the loose gravel.
