Vehicles illegally using the alleyway for cut through

The alleyway leading from Irchester Road to East Cresent is being used as a cut through for vans and motorbikes. The grass has massive ridges in from tyres. People have been narrowly missed by vehicles when using the alley. This has been going in for well over a month to my knowledge. This alley is used for parents to take their children to school. How long before one is injured from these reckless peoples driving

  • Thank you for making us aware of this illegal driving. We will order works to install additional posts in the new financial year to stop cars/vans from using this alleyway. We will reinstate the verges if necessary at the same time. In the meantime any illegal driving should also be reported to the Police.
