We are aware that there are often problems on Northamptonshire’s public rights of way, which are categorised according to their severity and risk; prompting differing response times and investigatory levels that vary significantly depending on the hazards involved. Regrettably we would currently consider this to be a lower priority issue. We are presently undergoing a review of our resources during this season and within the current governmental restrictions, but will endeavour to address reported problems of rights of way which appear to have been rerouted (if the responsibility of the County Council) this year, within the constraints of the Northamptonshire Highways financial budget for 2021/22. Once the ‘lock-down’ restrictions allow safer working and a return to full complement of our resources, we will be in a better position to investigate this matter in more detail and as mentioned earlier take the necessary action to get this right of way fully accessible. Thank you once again for letting us know
