Barbed wire blocking the footpath

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2462692.

The footpath after the stile from the A509 towards the Weetabix factory is obstructed by 2 rows of barbed wire. You can go over the stile, but cannot then proceed to turn right to reach Station Road & the bridge over the railway line into Burton Latimer.

  • Thanks for reporting this a site visit has been made and we are trying to find the landowner responsible to remove the barbed wire, and will update when further progress is made with contacting the landowner.

  • Thanks for reporting this a site visit has been made and we are trying to find the landowner responsible to remove the barbed wire, and will update when further progress is made with contacting the landowner. It has now been confirmed back to us that the barbed wire has now been removed from the path.
