Drain blocked with leaves, silt and debris

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2477745.

The drain located outside of Carbery Cottage is blocked and completely compromised. There is silt, mud, leaves and debris in the drain from the neighbouring fields. As a result the drain is not draining surface water adequately. Thereby leaving a sizeable amount of surface water across the road.

  • Thank you for your enquiry regarding the drains in Bulwick. The gullies in the area are on a cyclical programme of works and are programmed to be visited in April 2021. We are currently experiencing high levels of reports and have crews out dealing with the severe weather. This can have an effect on our gully programme but we will get to them as soon as we are able to.
