The subway for pedestians that goes under Yeomanry Way in Daventry is flooded and the water is not going down.
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 14:31, Thu 14 January 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2478223.
The pedestrian underpass that goes under Yeomanry Way near the junction of Staverton road has been flooded for a while and after the last big rain it hasn't drained making it impassible for pedestrians. The gulleys situated at each entrance of the subways that go from one side to the other of the side on both ends are blocked with detritus. Some of the drains further up in the grange near 2, 4, 6 and as far as the grange school are full of detritus also that cause the water to run down to the underpass due to the housing estates being build and lorries and mud etc has caused the problem to block drains.

Completely impassable. I’m now having to push my son in his stroller across the main road to get him to and from nursery. So dangerous. Please fix ASAP.

This subway wouldn't be so prone to flooding if the drains were cleared regularly. Please sort it a.s.a.p I hate for kids to be silly going down there to muck about and possibly drown
