Roadworks - dangerous operation

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2481807.

The Cityfibre contractors who are currently (at time of writing) working on the brow of the 'Rise' have roadworks almost covering one half of the road, but they have no traffic lights or manual traffic control operational.

This is very dangerous as vehicles cannot easily see over the rise. Surely it is illegal to block off half of a main road without providing some sort of traffic control?!

  • visited site today all looks to be in order footway works , I think they must have been doing a road crossing when you reported this which should have been carried out under traffic lights or stop and go boards I will raise this with City Fibre thank you for reporting your concerns
