Bollard demolished by car

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2484342.
A bollard has been hit by a car and is lying in the grass verge, but has left a sharp piece of metal sticking out of the pavement. The bollard is also intended to protect pedestrians but cannot at the moment.

Anonymous beat me to it. Thank you to them for reporting. I have attached two photos as well. This is the second time in 5 years that this has happened and the bollard has been hit by an incompetent driver. For media purposes, I am trying to work out if it was a hit and run and how much it will cost the council to replace? I am guessing because from research this happened well before Christmas and was not reported here, it was not firstly reported to the police. Is this right? Thank you, Samuel.
