Faulty road surface

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 17:01, Wednesday 20 January 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2491240.

Pedestrian crossing point adjacent to Spar . The road surface at the pedestrian crossing point appears to be lower than the surrounding roadway, leading to accumulations of water whenever it rains. This means that pedestrians cannot cross here without getting wet feet, or cars going through the water pedestrians splashing people on the footpath (which is narrow at this point). As a point to note, there are a number of crossing points in the town that also suffer from this problem.
