When it rains, the rain water collects in this area( corner of bath road/wood street)creating a sizeable puddle. When cars drive through this, it is hitting my door and windows. It has caused problems. I have had to have parts re rendered due to the amount of water that hits my windows, around my windows and door. Bath Road is a busy road, with the amount of traffic that goes past you is frequent. Not all drivers are considerate when they drive through this massive puddle. Please could the kerb be raised to help prevent drivers spraying excess rain water everywhere

  • Thank you for your enquiry regarding the gully on Bath Road. The gullies in the area were last cleared in June 2020. We are currently experiencing high levels of reports and have crews out dealing with the severe weather. We will investigate and provide information on our decision within the next 10 working days. To read more about gullies please click here https://www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/ councilservices/ northamptonshire-highways/ roads-and-streets/ Pages/ highway-drainage.aspx

  • Unfortunately, I disagree. This has nothing to do with gullies being cleaning. The area of the road is flat, water collects in this area. The water has no where to run too because the area is flat. So like I said in my initial report. When drivers go flying past, the water repeatedly hits my property.
