White Lines Faded
Reported via desktop in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 08:40, Fri 22 January 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2494451.
I have noticed. lately, that the white lines on this roundabout are dangerously faded especially the stop line when approaching the roundabout from Tesco. What makes it worse is that the lane separation markings, on the roundabout, are not so faded leading some drivers to think that the lane separation marking is actually the stop line causing them to overshoot the stop line and then stop side-on in a live lane. Because I have been using this roundabout for 17 years I am aware as to how it should work but I have seen drivers unfamiliar with this junction, through no fault of their own, very nearly causing nasty accidents
