Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2495205.

Traffic lights/ Bulbs out. this has been a problems for weeks and weeks. I reported this a while ago and there has been nothing down. now the traffic light has only 1 green light left as the others have gone out, and there are 2 red lights working. this is on Barrack road nn1 3rl adjacent to the mayor hold car park.

  • Good afternoon and thank you for your report. Can I just clarify where the signals are? You say they are on the Barrack Road and you have pinned the fault on Barrack Road but you say they are opposite the MayorHold Car Park which is on Horse Market. Thank you.

  • Thank you contacting Northamptonshire Highways. We are aware of the failed aspects on the overhead gantry At the Horsemarket / Greyfriars Junction. As there are 4 fully functional signal heads visible on this approach it has been decided not to repair the signal heads as this requires a full road closure to inspect the fault and carry out any repairs. This junction is due for refurbishment soon and this will include the removal of the gantry.
