Tree across NA12 footpath
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 12:58, Sat 23 January 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2496857.
I cannot choose the appropriate classification for this problem but. This footpath has been blocked for more than 12 months now. The landowner has made no attempt to clear the fallen tree despite being told of the problem. I have included a photo of the footpath sign as the problem is at the start of the footpath. The landowner has fenced in all the land and attached barbed wire to the fences so there is no alternative way to aces this footpath. The footpath connected Hargrave to Shelton which cannot be walked. Please can you either clear this footpath to enable the well used footpaths of Hargrave to continue to be used in an effective way. during these days of lockdown there is very little to do in our small villages and the residents use these footpaths fir except use. This problem has been reported before to no avail. Kind regards,
Janice
