Empty Grit Bin

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2500961.

This grit bin is empty, and is used on this junction with Corby road, and up the Millfield Avenue hill.

  • Thank you for your report regarding grit bins. We are compiling a list of all bins that need to be filled. Temperatures are now above freezing and we are expecting rain which will remove a lot of the snow. The forecast shows temperatures will continue to rise and grit bins will be replenished as soon as possible. Compacted snow still poses a risk on some roads and please do not assume a road is gritted.
