  • Thank you for your report regarding grit bins. We are compiling a list of all bins that need to be filled. Temperatures are now above freezing and we are expecting rain which will remove a lot of the snow. The forecast shows temperatures will continue to rise and grit bins will be replenished as soon as possible. Compacted snow still poses a risk on some roads and please do not assume a road is gritted. We grit 43% of the network and you can view our routes here. https://www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/ councilservices/ northamptonshire-highways/ roads-and-streets/ gritting/ Pages/ default.aspx

  • You don't grit Arkwright Road, so without grit, it's a skating rink. There's a large hill there.

Are you going to pay compensation to those who break limbs?
