Ice in this area causing danger for vehicles, property and pedestrians

Reported via mobile in the Icy Road category anonymously at 13:50, Tuesday 26 January 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2502564.

This area has a water leakage problem coming from a property on South Street - this isn't an issue in normal weather. However, this results in a long strip of ice on a gradient in cold weather, causing cars to skid which is particularly dangerous when they come out of the farm track off Green Lane straight onto an uphill bend. I have nearly hit the opposite wall a few times and now have to walk everywhere as we can't safely get out of the lane. A grit box would be ideal here so we can cover the dangerous bits in winter.
