  • Thank you for your report regarding grit bins. We are compiling a list of all bins that need to be filled. Temperatures are now above freezing and we are expecting rain which will remove a lot of the snow. The forecast shows temperatures will continue to rise and grit bins will be replenished as soon as possible. Compacted snow still poses a risk on some roads and please do not assume a road is gritted.   • Council owned grit bins are inspected annually prior to the winter season and filled if required. Please raise a new report should the bin need further filling
