Car parked across the pavement

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2505382.
There is a car parked across the pavement. It is not possible to walk along the pavement, without walking on the mud, which is too dangerous for some of the pedestrians using the pavement. The car has been there for at least 3 days. The owner has been asked to move it.

This car has been parked in this same position for well over 48 hours, with the drive EMPTY. Forcing pedestrians to walk round and potentially slipping on the mud or snow (now gone). Pedestrians with prams have a difficult time negotiating round, elderly people (as evidenced) are not too impressed. It is unacceptable selfish behaviour by the owner of the property.

Thank you for your query to Northamptonshire County Council’s Street Doctor Service with regard to a vehicle obstructing the footway on Harborough Road, Brixworth. Enforcement of obstruction of the Highway, either the road of the footpath, is undertaken by the Police and this can be reported to the Local Police Team by email at NeighbourhoodTeamDaventry@northants.police.uk or alternatively on the non-emergency contact number 101.
