Blocked storm drains
Reported via desktop in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 09:18, Fri 29 January 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2508849.
All of the storm drains between 28 and 34 Wappenham Road are blocked and quickly overwhelmed during heavy rain. The inlet gulleys appear to be clear so I suspect the problem relates to a blocked or damaged drain further down the street (to the west).
The council has cleared the inlet gulleys on a number of occasions over the past few years, however this doesn't resolve the problem. The underground horizontal drain pipes need to be inspected and cleared.
