Dangerous Pothole

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2509644.

Where the speed hump adjoins the road surface as you drive up Penistone Road towards Mounts Court there is a dangerous pothole that is dangerous, and big enough to damage vehicle wheels or unseat a cyclist/motorcyclist.............

  • Yes repair done but not to a very high standard, already the repair has sunk due to traffic driving over it, so expect the hole to reappear within a few weeks. Either cheap materials or poor workmanship, but in this town the roads are ALL terrible......overall a disappointing result

  • Thank you for your enquiry, a works order has been raised for repairs and will be undertaken within the next 6 months. Thank you for your enquiry, the defect does not currently meet the investigatory levels for repair and will continue to monitor through highway safety inspections.
