Pothole growing from previous trench backfilling

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 10:40, Saturday 30 January 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2511458.

Pothole has been here for 6 months. It is now rapidly growing with recent frosts. It is dangerous as it is right in the portion of the road used by cyclists. I, while cycling, have almost been hit by passing cars when having to dodge this pothole. The most serious are of this trench pothole is on the southern side of the road right by the verge. The pothole is growing from a filled trench which I assume was dug across the road to lay cables.
