Drain completed blocked

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2515442.

The drains outside 70 + 72 Rushtron Road are completely blocked with debris and the drain opposite 155 is partially blocked. This is causing water to run down the road and pooling further down the road at its lowest point.

  • Thank you for your enquiry, Site visited. No immediate flooding or safety issues. gullies will be cleaned on routine cyclical maintenance.

  • It's clear that nothing has been done regarding these drains and, if the scheduled visit in March did happen then it would appear that no inspection/action was taken. The 'best' drain is o/s no. 68 and the debris is almost to the top. As you can see from the other two pictures, the next ones o/s no. 72 and opposite no.153 are totally blocked. When it rains water cannot be drained away and pools at the junction of Westmorland Drive.
