Double Yellow Line Restrictions being ignored
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 14:13, Thursday 4 February 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2524607.
The double yellow line/no parking indicators along High Street in Long Buckby are being totally ignored. This is leading to congestion, near collisions and right of access problems for local residents. There is a total lack of enforcement present to ensure these rules are observed and its about time something was done. The main offenders are the parents to the nursery school nearby, delivery drivers and the visitors to the shops along the High street. Something needs to be done before there is a serious consequence from the lack of action on the part of the council to enforce the restrictions.
