  • Thank you for your report regarding potholes in Thrapston. Our first priority is to keep the road network safe. We carry out regular safety inspections to identify the worst defects as well as responding to reports from members of the public. We have been experiencing high levels of reports since the start of January and have crews out currently dealing with the severe weather, treating our precautionary and adverse gritting routes. We will investigate within the next 10 working days. Please be assured, if no action is taken at this time we will continue to monitor and repair any defects that pose a safety risk. Update 2.3.21. Thank you for your enquiry. This location has been inspected by our team. There are currently no defects that meet our investigatory criteria for repair. These levels have been agreed with Northamptonshire County Council. We will continue to monitor the defect via our routine highway safety inspections.
