Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the drains on Church Road; specifically that you feel they are blocked and potentially pose a flooding risk. Whilst we appreciate your comments and frustration, we have carried out an investigation and can confirm that there are no immediate safety concerns evident. However, we are pleased to confirm that cyclic cleansing of the drains and gullies in this area will commence in the near future, hopefully by the 1st of August. In some cases, we are able to attend before this prospective time; however, at this time, we have no further information other than the timeframe given above.
