The path along Flore hill is very uneven and with the growing amount of mud/moss, it is almost unusable. To the extent that at night it is dangerous to walk along as there is no street lighting. Pedestrians are walking on the road. The standard width of a path is recommended at 1700mm in places this path is less than the with of my foot (size 7) There are places where the path is the correct width highlighting that the path is not maintained and should be a certain width and has been ignored.
Path is covered by vegetation. Drains are now becoming blocked. If this happens then water can not drain aways could cause black ice to form and cause serious injury to someone. System will only allow me to upload 3 images so I will have to do more reports to show the poor maintenance. Drains on path are covered with vegetation you can just see edges of the drains, so these have not been inspected or maintained for well over 2 years.
The image Path at approx 1700mm.jpg shows the width of the path that it should be. Due to poor maintenance over the years the path is too narrow. Please see guidance from DEFRA on path width. If your contractor is working to ISO9001 as they state then the foot path will need to be cleared and fixed so the contractor can keep their ISO9001 standard. Otherwise this needs to be revoked and the contractor removed from the list of approved suppliers.
