Footpath between crossing and hotel, heading south is obstructed by overgrown shrubs & verge. Walking is dangerous.

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 18:36, Friday 12 February 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2542756.

The verge has been steadily spreading out since last year - it means that pedestrians are also the forced into the road and I was almost hit by a wing mirror of a car driving at 40mph along Barton rd. Shrubs and soil have grown over the path so that it’s almost impossible to step away from traffic or to pass another pedestrian safely.

Whilst walking on pavement, I was almost hit by wing mirror on bus. To make sure that it cleared the bollard base, the bus was almost against the kerbside and wing mirror was over pathway. The base of the bollard needs making smaller.
